Welcome to my new blog for Ready Bodies. The following stations will be active for the week of October 14 – October 17.
Station 1 – Eye, Hand, Foot: Tap the tennis ball with the wand held at both ends.
Station 2 – Balance: Pass the baton to a partner as you and your partner cross the balance beams walking toward each other.
Station 3 – Proprioceptive: 1st and 2nd grade will jump on the trampoline with feet together while looking at the dry erase board, following the numbers and skip counting by 2’s to 20, then 3’s to 30. Kindergarten will jump with feet together while looking at the dry erase board and counting from 1 to 20.
Station 4 – Motor Planning: Try to keep the hula hoop rotating around their waist.
Station 5 – Vestibular: Spin themselves on the spin board 10 times in one direction and 10 times in the opposite direction.
Station 6 – Proprioceptive: Lay on their stomachs on the scooter board and push themselves with their hands around the letters on the floor.
Station 7 – Tactile: Lay on their stomach on the mat while their partner rolls the ball from the neck to the heels of the feet and back up to the neck 3 times.
Station 8 – Ball Workout: Lay on their back and walk the ball up and down the wall with their feet.
Station 9 – Board Work: Draw a spider web on the dry erase board.
Station 10 – Balance Board: Stand on the Belgau balance board and toss and catch a bean bag.
